Abstract

Three new C-methylated flavones, named as muxiangrine I (1), muxiangrine II (2), muxiangrine III (3), were isolated along with one known flavone from Elsholtzia stauntonii Benth (Chinese name “Muxiangru”, Berberidaceae). Their structures were deduced on the basis of their spectral data.
