Abstract

A new iridoid glucoside, 5-deoxypulchelloside I, along with the three known iridoid glucosides, phlomiol, lamiid, and lamiidoside, were isolated from the leaves of Citharexylum fruticosum. The structure of the new compound was established by spectroscopic methods.
