Abstract

A radioimmunoassay has been developed for vincristine (1), one of the bis-indole alkaloids of Catharanthus roseus. The high vincristine (1) specificity obtained is demonstrated by a low cross-reactivity of vinblastine (2), an alkaloid closely related to vincristine (1) in structure.
