Sonographisch geführte Vorbereitung zur Dünndarmbiopsie mit der Watson-Kapsel - signifikant verringerte Strahlenbelastung

Zusammenfassung

Anhand des sonographischen Nachweises des Katheters der Watson-Kapsel im Pyloruskanal konnte die Passage der Kapsel durch den Pylorus bewiesen werden. Die für die Dünndarmbiopsie selbst erforderliche Durchleuchtungszeit konnte mit dieser Vorbereitung von mitunter bis zu sechs Minuten auf regelmäßig unter sechzig Sekunden gesenkt werden.

Abstract

Diagnostic ultrasound showed that the passing of the Watson capsule through the pylorus can be proved demonstrating its catheter within the pylorus. Only the biopsy itself has to be done under radiologic control which results in decreasing X-ray time from sometimes six minutes to a few seconds, usually less than one minute.
