Zusammenfassung

Eine Ranula entsteht durch Obliteration eines der kleinen Ausführungsgänge der Glandula sublingualis. Der Hauptausführungsgang der Drüse bleibt dabei offen.

Summary

The origin of a ranula is due to obliteration of a minor duct of the sublingual gland. The main excretory duct remains patent.
