Zusammenfassung

Es wird von einem Halstumor berichtet, der klinisch einer lateralen Halszyste ähnelte, histologisch jedoch einer angiofollikulären Lymphknotenhyperplasie entsprach. Das histologische Bild und die Pathogenese dieser seltenen Erkrankung werden diskutiert.

Summary

A tumour of the neck is reported which clinically resembled a lateral cervical cyst. Histological examination, however, revealed angiofollicular lymph node hyperplasia. Both aetiology and the histological features of this rare disease are discussed.
