Zusammenfassung
Im Lymphozytentransformationstest wurde die Reaktion der Lymphozyten von Patienten mit chronischer Tonsillitis gegenüber einer Vielzahl extrazellulärer bakterieller Allergene bzw. Antigene, aber auch gegenüber Zellwandantigen geprüft. Nicht nur vom gewählten Allergen, sondern auch vom Alter des Patienten und ob es sich um Tonsillen- oder Blutlymphozyten handelt, ist die Reaktion der Lymphozyten in vitro abhängig. Der auffälligste Befund ist die nur bei Blutlymphozyten kranker Erwachsener stark verminderte Reaktion auf Zellwandantigen.
Summary
Transformation tests of tonsillar and blood lymphocytes with many streptococcal extracellular antigens and streptococcal membrane antigen in patients suffering from chronic tonsillitis were performed. The in-vitro cellular immunoresponse depends on the antigen, the age of the patient, and the origin of the lymphocytes: blood or tonsil. There is good evidence that there is a selective unresponsiveness of the blood lymphocytes in adult patients, stimulated with streptococcal membrane antigen.
