Zusammenfassung
Elektronenmikroskopisch wurde ein Neurinom mit Antoni-A-Muster untersucht, welches
bei einem 27 Jahre alten Mann im Bereich des linken N. facialis entwickelt war und
durch Nervenkompression zu einer zunehmenden Fazialislähmung geführt hatte. Der Tumor
war überwiegend aus Schwannschen Zellen aufgebaut, welche durch eingekerbte Zellkerne
und eine reiche Organellenausstattung im Zytoplasma (Lysosomen, Golgiap-parat, Mitochondrien,
granuläres endoplasmatisches Retikulum) gekennzeichnet waren. Zwischen diesen Zellen
lagen Fibroblasten, welche jedoch nicht das sog. „ long-spacing collagen” enthielten.
Summary
A rare case of a neurinoma of the left facial nerve was investigated on the electron
microscopic level. The tumor developed in a 27 years old man and induced a facial
paresis by nerve compression. Ultrastructurally the tumour cells were characterized
by markedly notched nuclei and a well developed organized cytoplasm with multiple
organelles (lysosomes, Golgi's complex, mitochondria, rough endoplasmic reticulum).
Fibroblasts were frequently observed in the interstice. So-called “long spacing collagen”
was not detected in the interstice. The arrangement of the tumour cells represents
the Antoni A type.
