Zusammenfassung
Ausgehend von einer Übersicht über die historische Entwicklung der Ultraschall-Mammographie wird ihr derzeitiger Stellenwert innerhalb der Mamma-Diagnostik definiert. Anschließend wird ausgehend von den seit 1975 an über 1000 Patientinnen durchgeführten Untersuchungen über die sonographische Darstellbarkeit normaler und pathologischer Strukturen in der Mamma berichtet. An pathologischen Veränderungen finden Duktektasien, Zysten, Mastitiden, Fibroadenome, Karzinome und Gynäkomastien eine gesonderte Berücksichtigung und werden anhand typischer Echomammogramme demonstriert. Abschließend werden die eigenen Ergebnisse diskutiert und eine Zukunftsperspektive für die Ultraschall-Mammographie erstellt.
Abstract
Starting with a survey of the historical development of ultrasound-mammography the current status of this method within other diagnostic procedures of the breast is defined. Basing on over 1000 examinations since 1975 we report the sonographic possibilities in demonstrating different normal and pathologic breast structures. Pathologic structures are: Dudectasy, Cysts, Mastitis, Fibroadenoma, Carcinoma and Gynaecomasty. Own results are reported and the future of ultrasound mammography is discussed.
