Zusammenfassung
Die hepatolienale Candidose ist eine Komplikation von Immunschwäche-Erkrankungen mit zweifelhafter Prognose. Im Rahmen der Diagnostik dieser Erkrankung sind bildgebende Verfahren von großer Relevanz. Nach einer Einführung in pathophysiologische und klinische Aspekte werden diagnostische Kriterien und aktueller Stellenwert von konventioneller Radiologie, Szintigraphie, Sonographie, CT und MRT vorgestellt.
Summary
Hepatosplenic candidiasis is a severe complication encountered in immuno-compromised patients. Different imaging techniques can establish the diagnosis. After an introduction to the pathophysiological and clinical principles, the role of plain radiography, radionuclide scans, ultrasound, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging is discussed.
