Summary

Cystadenocarcinoma of the pancreas is uncommon, but should be positively identified and distinguished from other cystic lesions of the pancreas because of its good surgical prognosis in comparison with pancreatic adenocarcinoma.

I report two cases of cystadenocarcinoma of the head of the pancreas, in which a previoisly undescribed abnormal appearance of the duodenal papilla was characteristic.
