Zystische Adventitiadegeneration der A. poplitea - Punktion mit Hilfe der Ultraschallangiographie

Zusammenfassung

Als Ursache einer angiographisch filiformen Stenose der A. poplitea fand sich sonographisch eine zystische Raumforderung in der Gefäßwand, die dem seltenen Krankheitsbild einer zystischen Adventitiadegeneration entsprach. Nur mit Hilfe der Ultraschallangiographie konnte das fadenförmige Restlumen erfaßt und das Gebilde präzise punktiert werden. Ein zähflüssiges Sekret wurde entleert. Ohne Operation wurden die Claudicatiobeschwerden des Patienten dadurch behoben.

Summary

A filiform stenosis of the popliteal artery was examined by sonography and the reason for the cystic lesion in the arterial wall was found to be an uncommon type of cystic degeneration of the adventitia. The narrow lumen could be demonstrated by sonography and the lesion was punctured under ultrasound control. A viscous secretion was removed and the patient's claudication was cured without recourse to surgery.
