Die prognostische Bedeutung des frühen Ansprechens schizophrener Patienten auf Neuroleptika für den weiteren stationären Behandlungsverlauf

Abstract

There is some evidence that the early response of schizophrenic patients to neuroleptic treatment is of prognostic value for the subsequent course of treatment. This hypothesis was confirmed in a prospective study. It was demonstrated that already the therapeutic effect on the first day of treatment is of prognostic value, especially with a standardized drug regimen.

Zusammenfassung

Es gibt Hinweise dafür, daß das frühe Ansprechen schizophrener Patienten auf eine Neuroleptikatherapie prognostische Bedeutung für den weiteren Behandlungsverlauf hat. Diese Hypothese konnte im Rahmen einer prospektiven Untersuchung an 30 Patienten bestätigt werden. Dabei zeigte sich, daß schon der therapeutische Effekt am ersten Behandlungstag von prognostischer Bedeutung ist, insbesondere unter standardisierter Medikation.
