Zusammenfassung

Wir berichten über einen 72-jährigen Patienten, der seit 1994 mehrfach täglich unter schweren neuralgischen Schmerzattacken an der Innenseite des rechten Oberschenkels litt. Erst die gezielte elektrophysiologische sowie Ultraschall- und CT-Diagnostik der schmerzhaften Region im peripheren (nicht intrapelvinen) Verlauf des N. obturatorius führte zur Diagnose einer N. obturatorius-Kompression durch Tumor.

Summary

We report on 72-year-old patient who had suffered severe attacks of neuralgic pain on the medial aspect of his right thigh several times a day since 1994. Consistent electrophysiological and imaging diagnostics with ultrasound and computed tomography of the painful region in the peripheral (notintrapelvic) segment of the obturator nerve led to diagnosis of compression neuropathy by tumor.
