Summary

In vivo incorporations of 14C-leucine and 3H-galactose into the seromucoid proteins are decreased in Streptozotocin diabetic rats. The decrease in galactose incorporation is greater than that of leucine, and suggests that Streptozotocin diabetes influences the metabolism of both the protein and sugar moieties of seromucoid glycoproteins.
