Überdehnung des Plexus lumbosacralis bei Oberschenkelbruch

Zusammenfassung

Eine Skifahrerin stürzte ab und blieb mit gebrochenem linken Oberschenkel am linken Ski hängen. Dies führte zu einer umfangreichen Schädigung des Plexus lumbosacralis infolge Überdehnung des OS. Die Läsion ließ sich bis hinauf in die Foramina intervertebralia lokalisieren und führte vor allem zu einer Läsion des N. femoralis, der Glutealnerven, der Nn. cutaneus fem. lat. et post., kaum aber des N. peroneus. Die nicht mehr erwartete sehr weitgehende spontane Remission ca. 2 Jahre nach dem Unfall belegt, dass es zwar zu Rissen der Axone kam, die Grobstruktur der Nerven jedoch erhalten geblieben ist.

Summary

A skier fell and came to lie with her broken femur caught to the ski. This led to severe damage of the lumbosacral plexus in consequence of hyperextension of the thigh. The lesion was located up to the intervertebral foramina and specially led to injury of the femural nerve, the gluteal nerves and the Nn. cutaneus fem. lat. et post. The peroneal nerve was not affected severely, the tibial nerve hardly at all. The extensive spontaneous remission approximately 2 years after the accident, which was not expected any more, provides evidence for the fact that ruptures of the axons occurred, leaving the coarse structure of the nerves undamaged.
