Summary
Considerably greater precision in operative manipulation during endolaryngeal microsurgery can be obtained by inserting a steel wire-grid in the lumen of the laryngoscope. Lever movements are possible for two instruments simultaneously, with a precision gain of 3:1. There is no visual impairment when looking through the microscope focused on the glottis.
