Neue Aspekte der Ergußzytologie beim ovariellen Borderline-Karzinom*

Zusammenfassung

Der Fall eines ovariellen Borderline-Karzinoms mit völlig unspezifischer Symptomatik, der trotz umfangreicher Diagnostik erst mittels explorativer Laparotomie aufgeklärt werden konnte, zeigt sowohl in der Aszites- als auch der Pleuraergußflüssigkeit ein konstantes, vom „typischen“ Zellbild dieser Entität abweichendes zytologisches Bild. Dieses wird beschrieben und die wesentlichen Faktoren zu Diagnostik und Prognose des ovariellen Borderline-Karzinoms diskutiert.

Abstract

The diagnosis of a case of ovarian borderline carcinoma with unspecific clinical and laboratory results finally made an explorative laparotomy necessary. The cytology of ascites and pleural effusion was in contrast to the „typical“ findings of this entity, showing many single cells and small cloverleaf-like complexes. The morphological and immunological findings are discussed
