Zusammenfassung

Bei einer 46jährigen Patientin mit Lymphknotenrezidiv eines Mammakarzinoms traten nach zweimaliger lokoregionärer intraarterieller Chemotherapie mit Mitoxantron Schmerzen und Sensibilitätsstörungen im Versorgungsgebiet des N. intercostobrachialis auf, die 12 Monate später noch nicht abgeklungen waren. Ein Zusammenhang mit der lokalen Zytostatikaapplikation wird für sehr wahrscheinlich gehalten.

Abstract

A 46-year-old female with lymph node metastasis of breast cancer developed painful sensory abnormality of the intercostobrachial nerve after twofold locoregional intraarterial chemotherapy with mitoxantrone. The neurological signs and symptoms still persisted 12 months later. A causal relationship between the neurological disorder and the intraarterial chermotherapy is strongly suggested.
