Highlights der Radiologie-Literatur 2006

Das „radiologische” Jahr 2006 war im Hinblick auf die thorakale Region aus wissenschaftlicher Sicht eher enttäuschend, oder weniger harsch ausgedrückt: es wurden nahezu ausschließlich die wissenschaftlich und innovativ fulminanten letzten beiden Jahre nachverarbeitet. Die Bronchialkarzinom-Screening-Arbeitsgruppen liegen angesichts der vernichtenden Ergebnisse der letzten größeren Publikationen noch in Agonie. Daher ist die Ausbeute an wesentlichen radiologischen Arbeiten zu pneumologischen und thoraxchirurgischen Fragestellungen beschränkt auf zwei Bereiche: Mehrzeilen-Spiral-CT (MSCT) bei Lungenembolie sowie die onkologische PET-CT.
