Non-infective inflammations of the vertebral spine can be caused by seronegative spondylarthropathies or rheumatoid arthritis, respectively. Seronegative spondylarthropathies include ankylosing spondylitis, psoriatic arthritis, reactive arthritis, arthritis associated with inflammatory bowel diseases and undifferentiated arthritis. This review discusses etiology and pathogenesis, epidemiology, clinical features, diagnosis and differential diagnoses of these chronic inflammatory diseases with a special focus on vertebral involvement.
Zusammenfassung
Nicht infektiöse Entzündungen der Wirbelsäule können durch seronegative Spondylarthropathien oder eine chronische Polyarthritis hervorgerufen werden. Zur Gruppe der seronegativen Spondylarthropathien zählen Spondylitis ankylosans, Spondylarthritis psoriatica, reaktive Arthritis, Spondylarthritis bei chronisch entzündlichen Darmerkrankungen und undifferenzierte Spondylarthritis. Diese Übersicht informiert über Ätiologie und Pathogenese, Epidemiologie, klinisches Bild, Diagnostik und Differenzialdiagnosen dieser chronischen Erkrankungen, wobei ein besonderer Schwerpunkt auf der Wirbelsäulenbeteiligung liegt.
