Summary
Each case expresses an inner disturbance in its own peculiar way. Our duty as physicians is to understand this peculiarity rather than mechanically repertorizing the case. This case demonstrates how we are able to understand what the child is trying to convey in his own peculiar way. Here mechanically taking symptoms like ‘handles the genitals', ’shrieking' does nothing to capture the essence of the case and leads us to a wrong remedy, Hyoscyamus.
