Two cases are presented with case analysis and repertorisation. The first is a 41-year-old man who is a very serious, hard working and responsible crisis manager with irritable bowel syndrome. He was treated for seven years, initially with Aurum metallicum to which he responded well for four years. His illness completely resolved after Osmium metallicum. The second is an obese 62-year old lady with asthma and depression who feels side-lined but not redundant, treated with Sulphur and then Thallium metallicum.
