Abstract

Eleven indole alkaloids were isolated from the stem bark of Kopsia hainanensis, collected at Hainan island, China. They were: (-)-kopsinine, (-)-kopsininic acid, (-)-kopsinoline, kopsinilam, kopsanone, (+)-5,22-dioxokopsane, eburnamenine, (+)-eburnamine, (-)-isoeburnamine, (+)-tubotaiwine, and (+)-kopsoffine.
