Abstract
The effects on DNA synthesis in mouse fibroblasts and lymphocytes of a Triticum vulgare extract were studied. These effects were studied in comparison with Fibroblast Growth Factor at different times and in cell cultures inhibited in replication by treatment with mouse-interferon. The experimental findings indicate that this extract induces a significant increase in DNA synthesis with a unknown mechanism of action that is different from that known for Fibroblast Growth Factors
