Abstract

A new phenolic glucoside, named curculigoside (I), was isolated from the rhizomes of Curculigo orchioides GAERTN. and its structure was elucidated as 5-hydroxy-2-O-β-D-glucopyranosylbenzyl 2,6-dimetoxybenzoate.
