Abstract

On the basis of exhaustive ¹H- and ¹³C-NMR spectral studies and chemical transformations, the structure of nepetolglucosylester isolated from Nepeta cataria L. was revised as (5R, 8S, 9R)-7-deoxyloganic acid, which was renamed 5-epideoxyloganic acid.
