Abstract

Phytochemical examination of seeds of Daucus carota L. resulted in the isolation of apigenin -4′-O-β-D-glucoside, kaempferol-3-O-β-D-glucoside and a new flavone glycoside which was characterised as apigenin-7-O-β-D-galactopyranosyl-(1→4)-O-β-D-mannopyranoside.
