Abstract
Five coumarins altering rate of drug metabolism were isolated from the roots of Angelica koreana and identified as isoimperatorin, imperatorin, bergapten, oxypeucedanin and isooxypeucedanin.
These linear furanocoumarins inhibited hexobarbital metabolism in the first phase and accelerated it in the second phase.
