Abstract
An acidic polysaccharide from Sabal serrulata ROEM. et SCHULT (Serenoa repens, [BART] SMALL) showed at extremely low doses inhibiting activity on the carrageenin paw oedema and pellet test of the rat, but did not influence the proliferative phase of inflammation.
