Trotz einer „schwierigen” Geburt sind manche Frauen danach zufrieden und erfüllt, während andere Frauen nach einer „einfachen” Geburt sich zutiefst enttäuscht und unzufrieden fühlen. Auch gibt es Frauen, die sich zwar über die Schmerzen, die Ängste und die Dauer der Geburt beklagen und trotzdem durch die Geburt Erfüllung und Zufriedenheit erleben.
