Zusammenfassung
Untersucht wurden die Auswirkungen eines vierwöchigen Kraft-Ausdauer-Zirkeltrainings an Trainingsgeräten, kombiniert mit einer eiweißreichen, kohlenhydratarmen Ernährung auf die Körperzusammensetzung, die Ausdauerleistungsfähigkeit und das subjektive Empfinden bei Untrainierten (83 Männer und 205 Frauen; Durchschnittsalter ± SD: 48,9 ± 12,7 Jahre und 46,2 ± 11,9 Jahre). Die Versuchsgruppe (VG) erhielt klare Vorgaben der Trainings- und Pausenintervalle. Die Kontrollgruppe (KON) absolvierte die gleichen Übungen ohne genaue Vorgabe der Belastungs- und Pausenzeiten. Die Probanden beider Gruppen verringerten signifikant ihr Körpergewicht (KG) (Veränderung ± SD: Männer VG: - 2,9 ± 2,2 kg; KON: - 1,9 ± 2,6 kg; Frauen VG: - 2,1 ± 1,4 kg; KON: - 1,5 ± 1,7 kg) und ihre Körperfettmasse (FM) (Männer VG: - 2,2 ± 1,6 kg; KON: - 1,7 ± 2,3 kg; Frauen VG: - 1,9 ± 1,2 kg; KON: - 1,3 ± 1,5 kg). Die Abnahme des KG und der FM der Frauen-VG übertraf signifikant diejenigen der Frauen-KON. Aufgrund der geringen Effektstärke ist dieses Ergebnis jedoch vorsichtig zu interpretieren. Beide Trainingsgruppen steigerten signifikant ihre Ausdauerleistung und bestätigten ein besseres allgemeines Wohlbefinden. Die Männer und v. a. die Frauen der VG bestätigten eine höhere Motivation und ein besseres Befinden als die Teilnehmer der KON. Ein fest vorgegebener Trainings- und Pausenrhythmus verbesserte die Trainingsmotivation und allgemeine Stimmung bei Untrainierten.
Abstract
The effects of a strength-endurance-circuit training in combination with a high-protein, carbohydrate reduced nutrition over a period of four weeks on the body composition, endurance performance and subjective perception of untrained men (n = 83; mean age ± sd: 48,9 ± 12,7 yr) and women (n = 205; 46,2 ± 11,9 yr) have been examined. One group trained with fixed intervals for training and pausing between the exercises (VG) while the control group (KON) worked out with equal intensity but without set criteria for their training- and resting times. Men and women of both groups significantly reduced their body weight (KG) (variation ± sd: men VG: -2,9 ± 2,2 kg; KON: -1,9 ± 2,6 kg; women VG: -2,1 ± 1,4 kg; KON: -1,5 ± 1,7 kg) and their body fat mass (FM) (men VG: -2,2 ± 1,6 kg; KON: -1,7 ± 2,3 kg; women VG: -1,9 ± 1,2 kg; KON: -1,3 ± 1,5 kg). The improvements on KG and FM of the female VG-subjects were significantly better than the ones of the women-KON. Due to the small effect size, this result should be interpreted with care. All groups significantly raised their endurance performance and attested improvement in overall well-being. Men and especially women VG also confirmed a higher motivation and higher well-being than the KON. Timed training and rest periods raised the motivation to train and the general mood of untrained people.
