Off-midline Sinus Pericranii Associated with Ipsilateral Venous Anomaly: Case Report and Therapeutic Considerations

Abstract

A case of lateral sinus pericranii associated with ipsilateral venous anomaly is reported. No treatment was instituted in accordance with the parents’ wishes. The role of MRI and cerebral angiography in the diagnostic workup is discussed.

Zusammenfassung

Ein Patient mit paramedian gelegenem Sinus pericranii und assoziierter ipsilateraler venöser Anomalie wird vorgestellt. Von einer Behandlung wurde aufgrund der Befunde und gemäß dem Willen der Eltern abgesehen. Die Bedeutung der MRT und der zerebralen Angiographie für die Diagnosefindung und Therapieentscheidung werden diskutiert.
