Zusammenfassung
Hintergrund: Die endonasale Dakryozystorhinostomie (DCR) bietet gegenüber den Eingriffen von außen viele Vorteile, weshalb ihre Verbreitung, seit Einführung der starren Endoskope, zunimmt. Material und Methode: Es wurden über 400 DCR endoskopisch durchgeführt. Ergebnisse: Bei 95% der Patienten war ein gutes bzw. zufriedenstellendes Ergebnis zu verzeichnen. In 5% der Fälle trat eine obliterierende Vernarbung ein. Schlußfolgerungen: Die endoskopische DCR ist dem externen Zugang überlegen. Er kann bei einem akuten Infekt oder Abszeß durchgeführt werden, er hinterläßt keine sichtbare Narbe und zerstört den Aufhängungsapparat der Tränenwege nicht. Die funktionellen Ergebnisse sind sehr gut.
Summary
Background: Endonasal dacryocystorhinostomy (DCR) offers many advantages over external intervention, which is why it is being increasingly applied since the introduction of rigid endoscopy. Materials and Method: More than 400 DCRs were performed endoscopically. Results: Good or satisfactory results were obtained in 95 per cent of the patients. An obliterating cicatrisation occurred in 5 per cent of the cases. Conclusions: Endoscopic DCR is superior to the external approach. It can be performed in case of an acute infection or abscess, does not cause visible scar formation and does not destroy the suspension system of the lacrimal ducts, with very good functional results.
