Zusammenfassung

Die Indikationsgrenzen werden exakt festgelegt und anhand von 110 operierten Patienten kritisch überprüft. Der Vergleich mit radikaleren chirurgischen Verfahren zeigt gleiche Resultate bei funktioneller Überlegenheit der supraglottischen Kehlkopfteilresektion. Die Grenzen der Resektion werden bei Zungengrundinfiltration am Foramen coecum, bei Tumoren der oberen Larynxetage oberhalb des Stimmbandniveaus gezogen. Auch bei Tumorbeteiligung des Recessus piriformis ist die horizontale Teilresektion in einigen Fällen vertretbar.

Summary

The indications are exactly fixed and critically screened in 110 cases of supraglottic laryngectomy. Comparison with more radical surgical methods yields the same results with functional advantages of supraglottic laryngectomy. The limitations of resection are: the foramen coecum at the base of tongue, the arytenoids and the vocal cord at the entrance of the larynx, the piriform recessus in cases of extension to the hypopharynx.
