Zusammenfassung
Die Sutton-Aphthe ist eine Erkrankung aus dem Formenkreis der rezidivierenden oralen
Ulzerationen. Sie befällt im wesentlichen den nicht-keratinisierten Teil der oralen
Mukosa und heilt unter Narbenbildung. Ätiologisch wird eine Immunantwort gegen orales
Epithel oder gegen ein mikrobielles Antigen angenommen. Therapeutische Maßnahmen sind
eher unspezifischer Art, oder es wird die topische Anwendung von Antibiotika und Gabe
von Kortison empfohlen. Differentialdiagnostisch am wichtigsten erscheint der Ausschluß
einer bösartigen lokalen oder systemischen Erkrankung.
Summary
Sutton's ulcer is one of the recurrent oral ulcers. It normally occurs on the nonkeratinized
oral mucosa and heals by scar formation. The cause is assumed to be an immunologic
response to oral epithelium or the antigen of a microorganism. Therapy is unspecific
or topical use of antibiotics and cortisone is recommended. The exclusion of a local
or systemic malignant disease seems to be the most important feature of a differential
diagnosis.
