Zusammenfassung
Es wird versucht, auf der Basis von Genese und Pathophysiologie ein rationales Behandlungskonzept für den Zoster oticus zu entwerfen. Das neuere Schrifttum und eigene Erfahrungen sprechen für eine gleichzeitige virostatische Therapie mit Aciclovir und die Gabe von Glucocorticosteroiden.
Summary
On the basis of aetiology and pathophysiology a rational concept for the treatment of zoster oticus is attempted. The current literature and own experiences favour the simultaneous application of the virostatic aciclovir and glucocorticosteroids.
