Chirurgisch unterstützte orthopädische Behandlung einer Klasse-III-Fehlbisslage
Surgery Assisted Orthopaedic Treatment of Class III Malocclusion
Abstract
Treatment results of a class III skeletal malocclusion characterized by maxillary retrognathy and normal vertical growth pattern are presented. A female patient of 13 years of age was treated with a face mask to advance the maxilla following Le Fort I osteotomy. After a class I relationship had been achieved, treatment was continued by fixed appliances and succesfully completed. Soft tissue profile had improved remarkably.
