Flow-gesteuerte Kontrastmittelapplikation zur Computertomographie

Zusammenfassung

Ein von der Fa. Ch. Ulrich, Medizintechnik, Ulm, entwickelter KM-Injektor für die Computertomographie wurde tierexperimentell und klinisch getestet. Die präklinischen Untersuchungen wurden an 30 Hunden durchgeführt. Anschließend erfolgte die klinische Anwendung des Injektors an 1882 Patienten. Der vollautomatische, programmgesteuerte Injektor zeigt ein hohes Maß an technischer Zuverlässigkeit. Durch die Standardisierung der KM-Injektion konnte ein Optimum an Bildqualität erreicht werden.

Summary

A contrast injector for CT developed by the manufacturers C. H. Ulrich, Ulm, was tested in animal experiments and clinically. The preclinical investigation involved injection into 30 dogs. Subsequently the injector was used clinically in 1882 patients. The totally automatic programmed injector showed a high degree of reliability. By standardising the contrast medium injection, it was possible to obtain optimal image quality.
