Abstract

Postaxial Polydactyly represents an important manifestation of distal (partial) trisomy 13. We report on 2 patients with different chromosomal aberrations who share also mental deficiency, abnormal EEG, moderate dilatation of the 3^rd ventricle and craniofacial dysmorphy.

Zusammenfassung

Postaxiale Polydaktylie ist ein charakteristisches Symptom der distalen (partiellen) Trisomien des Chromosoms 13. Dieses belegen zwei neue Beobachtungen. Die Kinder wiesen außerdem eine psychomotorische Retardierung, abnormes EEG mit Hinweis auf Krampfbereitschaft und eine geringe Erweiterung des 3. Ventrikels und eine kraniofaciale Dysmorphie auf.
