Abstract
The electrolyte alterations of hyponatremia/hyperkalemia and their clinical picture are an emergency in the newborn period. Based on a case of pseudohypoaldosteronism the diagnostic work up of these findings and their differential diagnosis are discussed.
Zusammenfassung
Die Elektrolytkonstellation einer Hyponatriämie/Hyperkaliämie mit ihrer auffallenden klinischen Symptomatik stellt eine Notfallsituation in der Neugeborenenperiode dar. Anhand einer Patientin mit einem Pseudohypoaldosteronismus wird die Diagnostik dieser Befunde dargestellt und differentialdiagnostisch diskutiert.
