Entdifferenzierendes, therapieresistentes zerebrales Neuroblastom - ein Fallbericht

Abstract

A new case of primary intracerebral neuroblastoma is reported. The patient, a 2 year old boy, was subjected to temporary successfull craniotomy, postoperative irradiation and cytostatic therapy without any influence on the recurrence of the tumor. In contrast to the possible wellknown maturation of neuroblastomas a dedifferentiating process occurred. The boy died 8 œ months after diagnosis.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird ein weiterer Fall eines primären intrazerebralen Neuroblastoms bei einem 2jährigen Jungen beschrieben. Während die chirurgische Behandlung zunächst erfolgreich schien, konnten weder postoperative Bestrahlung noch Chemotherapie das Rezidiv verhindern bzw. beeinflussen. Im Gegensatz zur bekannten Differenzierungsmöglichkeit der Neuroblastome entwickelte sich hier ein Entdifferenzierungsprozeß. 8 œ Monate nach Diagnosestellung kam es zum Exitus letalis.
