Zusammenfassung

Funktionelle und morphologische Nebenwirkungen oraler Kontrazeptiva am Auge werden anhand der Liteatur und eigener Patientinnen dargestellt; auf mögliche ätiopathogenetische Zusammenhänge wie auf die Bedeutung einer intensiven ophthalmologischen Diagnostik bei allen Patientinnen unter hormoneller Kontrazeption mit unklarer Minderung der Sehkraft wird hingewiesen.

Abstract

Functional and morphological side effects of oral contraceptives on the eye are demonstrated by own findings and by literature. Possible aetiopathogenetic interrelations and the significance of an intensive ophthalmological examination of all patients who complain about decreasing vision under hormonal contraception are pointed out.
