Abstract

An 18-month-old infant with necrosis of the entire stomach and subsequent structure is presented. Two months after the ingestion of corrosive solution, the infant was admitted in poor condition. Total gastrectomy and oesophago-duodenal anastomosis were performed. Two years after the operation the child is in good condition.

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über ein 18 Monate altes Kind mit Nekrose des gesamten Magens mit dadurch bedingter Striktur berichtet. 2 Monate nach Einnahme einer Salzsäurelösung wurde das Kind in schlechtem Zustand aufgenommen. Es wurde eine totale Gastrektomie mit Ösophago-Duodenostomie vorgenommen. 2 Jahre nach der Operation befindet sich das Kind in gutem Zustand.
