Zusammenfassung

Die Candida-Spondylitis stellt eine Rarität dar. Die Weltliteratur berichtet bisher über 15 Fälle. Ein eigener, erfolgreich behandelter Kasus wird dargestellt und als Anlaß für eine Literaturübersicht genommen. Aspekte der Diagnostik, Therapie und Prophylaxe werden aufgezeigt.

Abstract

Candida caused osteomyelitis of the spine is a rare entity. In the literature are only 15 cases reported. An own case of Candida-osteomyelitis of the spine is demonstrated and a overview of the literature is given.
