Knochentransplantation und AIDS

Zusammenfassung

Es werden die durch das Auftreten von AIDS erforderlichen Maßnahmen bei der homologen Knochentransplantation dargestellt. Nach dem derzeitigen Stand der HIV-Epidemiologie beinhaltet die einmalige Untersuchung bei Femurkopfspendern bislang nur ein kaum meßbares Risiko einer Virustransmission. Voraussetzung für die Spenderuntersuchung und die Knochenverwendung ist das Einverständnis des Spenders. Wichtig ist auch die Aufklärung des Empfängers über das Restrisiko, eine beweissichere Dokumentation und eine fortlaufende Beobachtung der Epidemiologie von HIV.

Abstract

The necessary obligation to carefulness at homogeneous transplantation of bone in concem of the AIDS epidemiology are being presented. According to the actual state of the HIV epidemiology a single examination of femur head donors contains an almost unmeasurable small risk of a virus transmission. Prior condition to an examination of the donor and to the usability of bones is the informed consent of the donor. Also important is the education of the recipient about the remaining risk, a provable documentation and a continuous observation of the HIV epidemiology.
