Zusammenfassung

Berichtet wird über ein sekundäres malignes fibröses Histiozytom des Knochens in der bevorzugten Lokalisation im distalen Femur. Es imponiert als maligne Entartung eines Riesenzelltumors nach Strahlenexposition mit 5100 rad. Die typischen, in der Literatur beschriebenen Hauptsymptome: der Schmerz, die Schwellung und die Spontanfraktur waren vorhanden. Nach Radikaloperation im Gesunden war 15 Monate postoperativ keine Metastasierung nachweisbar.

Abstract

We report about a secondary malignant fibrous histiocytoma of bone which is most frequently found in distal femur. It appears as a malignant form of a giant-cell tumor after the exposure to radiation. The typical symptoms given in literature publications: pain, swelling and the pathological fracture were present. After amputation there was no metastasis for 15 months.
