Lunatum-Malazie und Swanson-Endoprothese

Zusammenfassung

Sowohl über die Ätiologie wie auch über die Behandlung der Lunatum-Malazie (M. Kienböck) gehen auch heute noch die Meinungen auseinander. Für die operative Behandlung sind in der Literatur über 20 Methoden beschrieben. Unsere kurz- bis mittelfristige Nachkontrolle von sieben Patienten, bei denen eine Swanson-Silastic-Lunatum-Endoprothese implantiert wurde, ergab subjektiv und funktionell gute Resultate, im Gegensatz zu den radiologischen Befunden.

Abstract

The etiology and the treatment of the aseptic necrosis of the lunate bone (M. Kienböck) is still today debated. In the literature we find more than twenty different procedures of treatment. Our follow-up of seven patients with Swanson Lunatum prosthesis showed subjectiv and functional good results whereas the radiological findings weren't satisfactory.
