Die klinische Bedeutung der Computertomographie im Bereich des Rückfußes

Zusammenfassung

Die computertomographische Untersuchung des Rückfußes in der frontalen Ebene bringt uns erstmals die Möglichkeit einer umfassenden Analyse der morphologischen Gegebenheiten, wie sie vor allem bei einer konsequenten Diagnose und Therapie von Erkrankungen und Verletzungen erforderlich sind. Die horizontale Ebene vermittelt uns Einblicke vor allem in die ossären Strukturen des Talus und Calcaneus sowie in das Chopart-Gelenk, wie es für eine umfassende Beurteilung des Fußes zu fordern ist.

Abstract

Computertomographic examinations of the hindfoot in the frontal and horizontal view will show us morphological findings, which we could not see with conventional X-ray-technique. Out of these findings we are able to control our operative reconstruction as well as late changes in bone healing. The horizontal view will show us the osseous structures of the talus and calcaneus as well as of the navicular and cuboid bone, as it is necessary for praeoperative evaluation of the hindfoot.
