Erfahrungen mit der Hüftgelenkendoprothese Modell PM für zementfreie Implantation

Zusammenfassung

Es wird über die Erfahrungen mit einer neuen Hüftendoprothese zur zementlosen Implantation berichtet. Aufgrund der bisherigen Ergebnisse kann dieses System sowohl für Primäroperationen als auch für Austauschoperationen empfohlen werden. Voraussetzung ist, wie bei allen anderen zementfrei zu implantierenden Prothesen, die exakte Operationstechnik zur genauen Anpassung des Implantatbettes an die Formgebung der Prothese.

Abstract

This is a report about the experiences made with a new hip prosthesis for cementless fixation. Considering the results gained hitherto, this system can be recommended for both primary and exchange operations. However, as for all other prostheses for cementless fixation, an exact operating technique is indispensable for thorough adaption of the inner femur surface to the shape of the prosthesis.
